The Stammtisch Bamberg-Baskets

We kindly welcome you on the homepage of the Stammtisch of the Bamberg-Baskets. (Stammtisch is a special german word for a group of people who meet regularly in restaurants to party). We are a group of basketballfans from Bamberg, not the youngest ones, and some of us are visting the games already about thirty years, since the times of the legendary JFK-hall, we followed our team to the other halls, and our passion is unbroken yet. And after the games we meet in one of the uncountable pubs of Bamberg and its environment to celebrate the victories or to recreate from the defeats.

To say it first: We are not a fanclub in its normal sense, and therefore you don't find here any informations and rumours about the games, the club or the players, and you don't find here the normal fancluboffers. We only have fun with this fascinating game of basketball (just like the motto of the NBA: "I love this game"), and we are the fans on the mainstand, who are cheering our team very loudly, we have already had a lot of meetings after the games, most of us were very croaky. The last two years our average age sunk in opposite to the demographic development of our country, and we have members in their second generation, our youngest member has its 10th birthday in 2005, and our meetings are more a family meeting, in an harmonic way, than something other
